End of Line Programming

Instructions

On the assembly line, when we're manufacturing products, we need to do things like: provision tool records, write data to electronics, configure various settings, print labels, etc.

The exact procedure varies by battery platform, BLE module, and sometime on a product by product basis.

Big Idea

JEDI provides a system for defining and delivering the instructions for what should be done at the programming station

Delivery

These instructions are defined as Milwaukee Tool States Language Scripts. You can learn more about Milwaukee Tool States Language here

The JEDI team also provides a "Manufacturing - Line Operator" Mode within QuickLink Web.

This allows QuickLink Web to be used as the software client on the assembly line retrieving and executing the instructions.

It also provides an easy way to test the instructions on your own computer locally.

You can read more about this in the QuickLink at Manufacturing article.
